Tissue

Tissue

A tissue is a group or collection of similar cells which work together to achieve Particular and have a common origin.
Blood, Phloem, and muscles are all examples of tissue.
• Study of tissue is called histology.

Importance of tissue

• Formation of tissue held brought about division labour of a multicellular organism.
• Tissue becomes organised to form organs and organs into the organs system.
• Workload of individual cells has decreased due to the origin of tissue.
• As a reset of improved organization a higher efficiency, multicellular organisms have higher curvier.

Difference between plants and animals tissue:-

  Plant tissue
• Dead supportive tissue is abundant.
• They require less maintenance in energy.
• Organisation of plant tissue is simple.
• Plants continued to grow throughout life.

  Animal tissue
• In multicellular animals living tissue is more abundant.
• They require more maintenance energy.
• Organisation of Animal tissue is complex.
• Animal does not show growth after reaching maturity.

Meristematic tissue (Meri stems)

• Cells of meristems divide continuously and help in increasing the length and girth of the plant These cells show the following Characters:-
1) The cells of meristematic tissue are similar in structure.
2) The cells have their cellulose cell wall.
3) The meristematic cells may be spherical, oval, polygonal, or rectangular.
4) The cells are compactly arranged and do not contain any intercellular shape between them.
5) Each cell contains dense cytoplasm and a single large nucleus.
6) Each cell contains few vacuoles or no vocals.

Functions:-

1) These tissue act as in the parent tissue from which other tissues develop.
2) These tissues take part in the growth by the formation of new cells.
3) The place of in query in the plant is he healed -up by the formation of new cells by (meristems).
4) With the help of meri-stems, plants continued to produce new leaves, branches of the stem and root, flowers and fruits.

Location of meristems in a plant body

• On the basics of position in the plant body, meristmatic tissue are of three types:-
1) Aprical
2) Lateral
3) Inter Calgary
