Use of switch 

A network switch connects devices with in a network (often a local areas network or LAN) and forwards data packets to and from those devices.

2-Routers

Features of Routers

1- A Router is a layer 3 or network layer devices. 
2- It connects different networks together and sends data packets from one network to another
3- A Router can be used both in LANS (Local area networks) and WANS (Wide Area Networks)...
4- It Tranfers data in the form of IP Packets. 
5- Routers provide protection against broadcast storms.

Use of router

Managing traffic between these networks by forwarding date packets to their intended IP addresses, and allowing multiple devices to use the same internet connection.

3-Hub

Features of Hub

1- Hubs do not perform packets filtering or addressing functions.
2- They just send packets to all connected Devices.
3- Hubs operate at the Physical layer of the open system interconnection(OSI) model

Use of Hub

 connects multiple computer networking devices together. A Hub also acts as a repeater in that it amplifies singals that Deteriorate after traveling long distances over connecting cables.

4-Modem

Features of modem

Use of moden

Modem is a devices that enables a computers to send or receive data over telephone or cable lines.
